AIR CONDITIONING COOLING / HEATING

Use of air conditioning is optional. The fixed tariff is 5 € per room per night.

The total amount may be paid upfront together with the renting fee saldo (at latest 4 weeks before starting the renting period)or may be paid cash at the end of the renting period.

cot + sheets + blanket and high chair are available - magnetron in kitchen for heating milk

BAR

The bar fridge is at the guest's disposal allowing them to put an cool their own drinks.

BREAKFAST BUFFET

As there are nowadays 5 large supermarkets in the Lagoa area (Intermarché, Lidl, Modela, Pingo Doce, Leclercq) all kind of foodstuff is available. On top of that each of them has its own bake-off system so that rolls, baguettes, chiabatta and fresh croissants are now available every day of the year.

we have some toys available (cards, chess, letters, etc)

DINING ROOM

large dining room and patio doors leading to terrace and overlooking pool area

meals can be taken inside the dining room (winter) or on the terrace (summer)

large and practical BBQ area near the kitchen, the dining room and the terrace

about the meals :

• all meals may be prepared by the guests themselves: large supermarket in the neighbourhood
• there are a lot of good to excellent restaurants available in the Carvoeiro area (the staff will fully inform the Guests about all the existing possibilities). All the Chefs are very proud and capable to organise all kind of parties you want and exigeances you might have (anniversaries, birthdays, business lunches, etc. etc.) in their nice and comfortable restaurants.

FINANCIAL ASPECTS

• down payment of 50 % necessary in order to make the booking effective
• balance payment : 4 weeks before start renting date
• guarantee deposit : 500 € per week
• breakage: cash payment at end of stay or deducted from guarantee deposit
• there are 10 ATM money dispensers available in the bank offices in town

repartition of rooms is made on forehand using the ad hoc form

INVENTORY

• full inventory (items + quantities) is available for the hirer (in the villa)
• kitchen fully equipped
• laundry with washing machine, drying machine, ironing machine although washing products has to be purchased by the hirer
• restaurant seats and china ware for maximum 18 guests available

• resident staff is available for all information and help as for choice of restaurants (typical Portugese , fish , the succulent Belgian restaurants, international restaurants), or organising trips, sightseeing, making reservations, or for sports such as tennis, golf, scuba diving, mountain biking, scooter rent, water ski, parasailing, high sea fishing, boat trips, etc. or for visiting the family parks as Zoomarina, Splash & Splide, The Big One, Aquashow, Atlantic water park, Krazy world, Omega zoo, etc.
• special services as massages, flight over the Algarve with Cessna. can be arranged
• if required staff can provide baby sitting service
• discounts on the 3 Carvoeiro golf courses

the villa is located in a very nice residential area (nice villas in the neighbourhood) on top of the cliffs

the villa has nice ocean view (from Benagil to Lagos = 30 km ocean view!)

• centre of town = 15 minutes walking time (24 h active social life : bars, restaurants, shops, discos, etc.)
• nearest white sandy beaches = Praia Paraiso (8 min. walking time) - Praia Carvoeiro (15 min. walking time)
• nearest supermarket = 3 minutes walking time
• nearest restaurant = 3 minutes walking time
• nearest hypermarket = 3 minutes driving time

there are 6 double rooms

and 2 of this rooms have an adjacent bed room (ideal for families with children)

there are in total 15 very comfortable beds (sleeping on the sofas in the lounge is not allowed)

in due time we send the plan of the rooms indicating the number of beds

Standard outfit of a bedroom:

2 comfortable twin beds + dressing table + armchair + suitcase rack + large fitted wardrobes + TV + safe and bathroom or shower room en-suite and WC. In the bathroom there is a hair dryer and magnifying-glass available.

SMOKING

smoking in hotels and all types of touristical developments (villa renting included) is totally prohibited by law 37 / 2007 published August 14, 2007.

SECURITY

the villa has a fire protection programme - trained security staff is available

TRANSFERS / CAR HIRING

if required guests can be helped for organising transfers from and to Faro airport

and for budget car hire as well

START AND END OF STAY

as a principle the holiday starts on a Saturday and ends on a Saturday as well (= 7 nights)
